Objective:
Selina Barraza is a contemporary collagist and painter based in Palmdale, California. Her work centers on environmental and social awareness, exploring the interconnected relationships between humanity, nature and society. Barraza holds two associate degrees, and a bachelor's degree of Fine Arts, and she has experience teaching in classroom settings ranging from college-level students to children.
An avid traveler, Barraza draws inspiration from diverse environments and cultures. She has participated in numerous exhibitions both nationally and internationally, including two shows in Berlin, Germany. In addition to traditional gallery spaces, she collaborates with other artists to create pop-up gallery exhibitions and regularly showcases her work in exhibitions across the United States and in online international platforms.
